This Pittsburgh based Kickstarter project recently exceeded their goal of raising $5,000 in funding. The Sisters of Lattice will use the proceeds to begin their TransAmerican Tour and corresponding film (Fall 2012). Va and Vaa (Agnes Bolt and Nina Sarnelle) are synthetically conjoined twins determined to travel across the globe sharing a groundbreaking futurist theology based on the universal power of Silicon crystal. It’s hard to believe it’s already been 15 years since the very first Art All Night event in Pittsburgh! This weekend, head over to Lawrenceville for 24 hours (actually 22 hours) of local art and music. This year’s location will welcome over 10,000 visitors to the 50,000 sq ft Willow Street Development (40th and Willow St. in Larryville) and the cost of entry is $0.00.

Art All Night is a vast display of artwork with over 1,200 pieces to explore. Each artist is allowed to submit their single best piece of work about anything. ANYTHING. This is a true art show with absolutely no boundaries. No Fees, No Jury, No Censorship. Attend with an open mind or stay home being bored.

Pittsburgh certainly has established itself as a major hub for entertainment.

In the spirit of entertainment and the arts, Pittsburgh’s own theatre company, No Name Players, is continuing along with the idea of showing just how talented The Steel City truly is. On March 15th and 16th, they are hosting their Fourth Annual SWAN (Support Women Artists Now) Day at The New Hazlett Theater in the North Side.
