We like stuff that’s Made in Pittsburgh. We like Fiks:Reflective (you’ve seen it advertised as the Featured Pittsburgh Kickstarter Project this month). We also like Nick Drombosky. He’s the kick-ass Pittsburgher behind Fiks:Reflective. Pitt
graduate dropout, blogger, start-up founder, biker (pedals and motors), inventor, non-profit organizer… and now he’s a fashion designer. Nick’s current project: clothing for the night.
Reflective clothing shouldn’t have to be ugly. Fiks:Reflective is back with another project to help keep you seen out there at night.
F:R is something Pittsburgh can be proud of. It looks good and keeps people safe. The new shirts are Made in Pittsburgh with American Apparel drirelease tees, which means ethical manufacturing, comfort, style (and sweat resistance).
It has been fun to watch this project climb beyond its $8,000 goal. As of this post, there are still 7 days left to back the project. It’ll be even more exciting to see where Nick takes it from here.
