The Dark Knight himself Christian Bale recently returned to the Burgh (currently in Braddock, PA – the fire hall to be exact) for the filming of Out of the Furnace. The whole Batman thing was Anne Hathaway’s second big trip to Pittsburgh. Boring Pittsburgh captured loads of pics and videos from the making of this movie, but Morgan Freeman was nowhere in sight. Still no word as to whether or not Pittsburgh will play itself. A brief synopsis on IMDB says the flick is about a salesman that experiences life-changing events after arriving in a small town. Sounds like Love and Other Drugs meets Abduction.
