Unfortunately the video (said video has been removed by the original uploader for unknown reasons as of 1/23/12) for new North Shore Connector is more awesome than the thing itself. Not to be a bummer, but let’s put this into perspective. Coming Soon: GetGo in Regent Square (the Good and the Bad)
In what has been an ongoing story since last September, GetGo has recently broken ground for their new Regent Square location.
Reasons why this is a good idea:
- Locals won’t have to drive as far to redeem their Fuel Perks.
- The cop cars that usually park in that dark lot at night trying to trap people, won’t be able to do it anymore since the GetGo will be 24/7.

Hines Ward Reaches 1,000 Catches in Steelers Regular Season Finale
A beloved member of Steeler Nation reached a very important milestone Sunday afternoon as Hines Ward became just the 8th player in NFL history to catch 1,000 catches. Ward always said that he was a “team first” player so it was only fitting that the team repaid those years of efforts with helping him reach this prestigious level.

Pittsburgh Mourns Steve Jobs at Shadyside Apple Store (pics)
Pittsburgh paid respects to the late Steve Jobs by laying various items in front of the Shadyside Apple Store in tribute to the Apple co-founder/CEO. Fans showed their appreciation to the God of Apple by offering flowers, thank you notes, money, iPhones/iPods, candles, apples, and a bottle of apple juice.
The shrine was set up beneath a balloon that is carrying a Macbook Air into the heavens. Even though the display has been in the window for a while, you have to wonder if it is a message from Steve to his friends, that all is well and he will always be with them. It’s really nice to think of it that way. Please enjoy the gallery of pics below…
