Introducing Group, a new interactive audio-visual performance project in Pittsburgh. Get ready to journey through these 9 platforms: agree, contact, voice, ingest, trim, act, fatigue, breathe, and release. Scott Andrew and Nina Sarnelle are the leaders of Group and they just launched an Indiegogo campaign to help fund the self-release of an album to be released in August. Each platform is also an individual track on the album and consists of guided meditations, chants, breath work, and physical exercises.

For as little as $10 you can get a download of the album when it’s released. A mere $25 scores you the download as well as a reserved spot the live show in October! This project is also partially funded by the Sprout Fund and the Pittsburgh Foundation, so you know it’s going to be good.

Drawing upon conventions of rock concerts, spiritual rituals, yoga classes, team-building exercises, and psychedelic visualizers, this audio-visual experience combines a 90-minute musical score, participatory exercises and a large inflatable set mapped with dynamic video projection. Each peer will participate in karaoke chanting, breathing exercises, guided meditation, massage therapy, all-you-can-eat buffet, and sensory detoxification. All peers who enter will exit as group.
