Winter is finally over, but don’t drag out your old t-shirts from last year, buy new ones! The Cotton Factory, a Pittsburgh based online t-shirt company, is holding a special event tomorrow at the Geek Art/Green Innovators Festival to unveil some new limited edition designs. Join them from 4:20pm – 11pm Friday, April 2nd… rumor has it there might be really good local beer, too.
Have you seen those awesome Pittsburgh parking chair shirts advertised on Facebook? Those tees were designed by The Cotton Factory. During the Blizzard of 2010, they drove around and randomly put “Respect the Chair” shirts on parking chairs all over Pittsburgh. This was the birth of their guerilla retail campaign – and it’s just the beginning. Customers from all over the world order shirts from The Cotton Factory, but the shirts sold tomorrow will not be available on their website, evar. Go buy some and resell them on eBay for profit!
Join us for First Friday during the Geek Art/Green Innovators Festival for the premiere event in a series of guerilla retail spectaculars.
Our art stars have been working behind the scenes to bring you potent new tees from the underground, made with custom inks, new printing techniques and brilliant artistry.
Most of these one-offs and very limited editions won’t be available anywhere but the TeeRex guerilla store, so don’t miss out! (from the Facebook event page)
