It’s about time someone had enough sense to open a bubble tea joint in Shadyside. According to the posted notice, I Tea Cafe will also be serving hot pot and shabu-shabu along with other rice and noodle dishes!
This Bellefonte space is off the beaten path a bit, but so are some of the busiest eateries in the area. For example: Crepes Parisiennes, Girasole, heck even Starbucks is on a side street. It is a starting off point for the I Tea Cafe and we predict that it’s going to be a big hit. Of course, that all depends on how they go about it. Take the fro-yo shop on Walnut, they should be booming with business but their execution just isn’t as good as Razzy Fresh. Boring Pittsburgh is giving I Tea Cafe the benefit of the doubt, and for some reason the cute sign they put on the side of the building makes it look promising. Check back later for a full review.
