Keith Fuller has tradition that reminds us how to celebrate Thanksgiving.

Each year, the chef and owner of ROOT 174 in Regent Square, sets up a place at the dinner table for anyone in the restaurant industry with nowhere to go.

The last Thursday in November is about more than camping out in front of big box department stores so the next day you can rack up credit card debt in search of more stuff you don’t need.

Thanksgiving is the time to be thankful and giving. It’s also the one day of the year where almost all restaurants are closed. This year, be inspired by Chef Keith and invite someone with no place to go to your dinner table.
