Whatever It Takes: Steelers Fan Collections, Rituals, and Obsessions at CMU's Miller Gallery. An art show dedicated to all things Steelers related. The gallery runs until 1/30/2011 but Friday, September 9th at 5pm don't miss a tour of the Steelers Room by Denny DeLuca… then, from 6pm-8pm is the Immaculate Reception hosted by Iron City Brewing. Please join us this Friday at the Ellis Armory (across from Bakery Square) for the 10th annual H'Art & Soul of Haiti gala-- all proceeds benefit the Friends of Hopital Albert Schweitzer Haiti-- a Point Breeze-based nonprofit that sponsors programs in Haiti and supports the Hopital Albert Schweizter Haiti, founded by the Mellon family in the 1950s.

At 9 p.m. we will open the doors for a special DEAN & BRITTA concert! Tickets are $25 in advance and $30 at the door. ALL tickets purchased
online will be held at the door. Doors open at 9:00 pm, Dean &
Britta scheduled to go on at 9:30 (be prompt!). All ages are welcome,
but concert-goers must be 21 or older with valid ID to be served
alcohol. Cost of ticket includes beer, refreshments & light snacks.
DJ Sean MC & Jenny Jihad spinning soul, funk and boogie into the
wee hours.

I can't see the link, but thanks for posting this information. It is really important that I know where to recycle so that my apartment doesn't become a storage unit for empty cans and plastic bottles. I can't bear to throw them in the trash.

@capnmorley is right. As he put it. Pittsburgh is anti-seperate now haha:

Beginning November 1, 2008, the City will go to a single stream recycling collection in all divisions where all collectible recycling items, except for corrugated cardboard, can be bundled together in the same blue bag for curb side collection.

Curb side pick-up for recycling takes place every other week. Place
recyclables at curb no earlier than 7 p.m. on the night before
collection and no later than 6 a.m. on the day of collection.

Uncle Kracker will not be performing at Rib Fest on Monday, Sept. 6. He's being replaced by Steel Magnolia. Monday’s opening act will take stage at 4 p.m. followed by Steel Magnolia at 5:30pm All other Rib Fest events and activities will continue as originally scheduled.
