Might have the best croissants but the worst service. Have you ever tried getting out of there after eating? Good luck. It really is like being served by the French.

I live nearby, and we’ve been there a few times. The service can be very slow. That said, everything I’ve had there has been delicious. It’s a give-and-take, for us: Food prepared in a delicious way we can’t easily find otherwise, versus sinking a two-hour round trip into brunch.

What’s special is the eggs provencale, the croissants with creme fraiche, and the macaron in a billion flavors.
