Almost one billion people in this world don’t have enough food to live a healthy life, but in more important news, The Biggest Loser is back! A mind-numbing reality game show about 15 overweight people trying to burn the most fat to win cash. In this competition, the biggest loser is also the biggest winner and walks away with $250,000.
One of those contestants is Jessica Limpert (@JessicaLimpert), a travel nurse from Pittsburgh, PA weighing in at 254 pounds.
We really wanted to blame Pittsburgh’s traditionally unhealthy food options for Jessica’s weight accumulation, but it turns out that campus food was the culprit as usual. Like many students, Jessica actually entered Westminster College at 150 lbs where she gained an additional 80 pounds in her freshman year.
Pittsburgh Chef Elise Wims recently made it to the final three on Hell’s Kitchen season 9, so we’re counting on Jessica Limpert to hold it down for the Burgh on The Biggest Loser. Boring Pittsburgh wishes Jessica the best and hope she walks away from the show looking and feeling great… with cash in hand.
Watch Jessica on The Biggest Loser, Thursdays at 8pm on NBC
In other Pittsburgh Reality TV news, a Carnegie Mellon University graduate student will be competing in front of Simon Cowell and Paula Abdul on The X-Factor. Michael Dunn is a New York native studying Entertainment Industry Management at CMU’s Heinz College (BurghVerified). He’ll be performing with two of his best friends as part of a group they formed called Blackout.
The auditions are stage one in series of four rounds that Michael will have to battle his way through. You can cheer him on during the September 22 at 8pm premiere on FOX.
Update: Michael will be on the Thursday, September 23rd show at 8pm on FOX
