Matt Damon coming to Pittsburgh to film "Promised Land"
Matt Damon will be in Pittsburgh to begin filming a movie called “Promised Land” in April.
Still no word as to whether or not Pittsburgh will play itself. A brief synopsis on IMDB says the flick is about a salesman that experiences life-changing events after arriving in a small town. Sounds like Love and Other Drugs meets Abduction.
Damon co-wrote the screenplay with John Krasinski (The Office). They will be joined by Pittsburgh raised co-star Frances McDormand, so it should be an interesting few months.
