Maxwell’s “The Tour” concert in Pittsburgh on Saturday, July 10th has been postponed until further notice. This was supposed to be the final event at the historical Mellon Arena.
We haven’t been given a reason for why the show was cancelled and all evidence of the tour stopping in Pittsburgh have been removed from Maxwell’s official events page. Before you get all pissed off, the concert was not cancelled because of the Igloo closing down…
All of Maxwell’s concerts after the NYC stop on June 26 have been postponed or cancelled. These cities are: Greensboro, NC, Charlotte, NC, Columbia, SC, Pensacola, FL, Nashville, TN, Highland Heights, KY (Cincinnati, OH), Columbus, OH, Pittsburgh, PA, Buffalo, NY, Boston, MA, and Baltimore, MD (recently removed from purchase on Ticketmaster). No reschedule dates have been issued.

Selected dates on Maxwell’s tour have been postponed with no further details at this time. As fans, we feel your pain! At least you don’t have to do anything to receive a refund. Refunds will be automatically credited to all phone and internet purchasers. Please note, If you purchased at the box office or at an outlet, you will need to visit your point of purchase for a refund as soon as possible.
We refund everything except order processing and delivery fees and you should expect to see a credit within 7 to 10 days.
