The Next Three Days, a new Russell Crowe flick is being filmed in Pittsburgh and they’re looking for extras. Director Paul Haggis begins shooting on October 2nd, 2009.
Nancy Mosser Casting, a Butler Street casting company, has been hired to handle hiring extras for the film, and they are on the lookout for people to work between Monday 10/5 to Friday 10/9.

More movies should be shot here! And more movies will be, especially with the tax incentives for filming in PA. Pittsburgh is a great city because there are a lot of neighborhoods here that look different. It’s like having a few different sets already at your disposal. Not to mention the beautiful bridges for overhead shots!
A great location to film a movie at is located P&L RAilroad which has 104 acres of land belonginig to John Krugel of JRR RAilroad. It is an historic site and I visualize this area does have an opportunity to be restored and be used for multiple business opportunies. I want to be part of the plan to restore history and add and make it internationally businesses with condo’s on top and alarmed wrought iron gates. Please make movies there and include me in your project. This can be used to make movies similar to the Ripper, and black n white films, and etc.
