Taylor Swift's Fearless Tour Bus - Schenley Park, Carnegie Mellon

Taylor Swift has arrived in Pittsburgh for her concert at Mellon Arena (10/1/09 @ 7:00pm). Here is a shot of her tour bus near Phipps Conservatory in Schenley park (CMU seen behind the bus). You’ve all heard of Taylor Swift, especially if you’re on Twitter – she has almost 1.4 million followers! She’s also the one Kanye West recently interrupted in the middle of her acceptance speech at the MTV Video Music Awards.

Tickets have been sold out since April 2009! A few sellers on StubHub (the eBay for event tix – in fact, eBay owns it). And then there is this site selling floor seats for up to $9,700! That’s gotta be a typo!

Here’s an interesting Taylor Swift Wikipedia fact: “According to the 2009 issue of Forbes, Swift is ranked as the 69th most powerful celebrity with over $18 million in earnings this year.^[10]” …Even if you don’t care about her or like her music, those stats are still pretty nuts for a 19 year old.
