“Leading Up To Christmas” Star 100.7′s New Holiday Song

We live in a time of exaggerated cynicism and sarcasm. Just look at the comments on YouTube, or the 140 character anecdotes on Twitter. That’s why when Bubba sent the link to Star 100.7’s new Christmas song, expectations weren’t set very high. You can imagine the feeling of surprise and joy when the song started playing…

You helped us write it. We used your lyrics. Last night our intern Adi, Heather Abraham from KDKA TV2, Brandon Hudson from WPXI 11, 13 year old Carley, and a group of 7 year olds from South Fayette (Sydney, Angela, Melena, Amanda and Aleia) came up and sang the song. Let us know what you think!

Amazing, considering that they started the song sometime last week
We are putting together a Christmas song for this holiday season. Our intern Adi is an amazing singer. We put together an original music bed. YOU, our listeners came up with some of the lyrics. Adi will sing, we have a group of young girls coming up to sing and be a part of the chorus, we have reached out to local and nation celebs to be on it….and on Monday we will be taping and taking video of the official recording of “Leading Up To Christmas”! We want to make sure it is perfect. So listen to it, and give us your feed back. Bubba posted his thoughts on Facebook. Either comment below or join the conversation there.

Thank you Star 100.7 for doing this. The song has all of the elements that make a good Christmas song. It’s beautiful and should be played everywhere…
