Boring Pittsburgh had a great time celebrating the 2017 Total Solar Eclipse with yinz! There was a quick dose of worry when we saw tweets that our eclipse glasses might be under a recall, but it turned out ok!

It started out as a typical rainy day, but quickly turned into a beautiful day for the main event. Even though the Burgh only saw a maximum 81% coverage, it was an amazing experience.

In South Park, which is where we went, the wild animals were quiet, the trees were moving slowly under an easy breeze, and the natural lighting seemed as if someone placed an Instagram filter over life as we know it. It was a strange feeling!
