I want to like this place. Especially since the local alternative is one the worst restaurants in the city (you know, the place on Walnut). But Typhoon, as clean and classy as it may be, just can’t get the dishes right. Everything they serve is way too salty and off balance. I don’t mind paying their higher prices, but the food just doesn’t justify it. And come on, can we have a little more rice? For a curry dish that costs $16 one would think you should at least get some more rice than a small upside-down bowl full.

Worth checking out, but not awesome.
