The main function of the two lines is to connect Downtown to some of our favorite places, including Heinz Field, Carnegie Science Center, PNC Park, The Andy Warhol Museum, etc…

These tailgating pranksters down at Heinz Field have been attaching a dollar bill to a string and leaving it in an area with heavy foot traffic. When an unsuspecting fan reaches for the bait, the bill is yanked away right before their eyes. That’s exactly the moment when a group of drunken yinzers begin laughing hysterically from the other side of the parking lot! If you pay close attention, you can see the fisherman is even using a custom Steelers fishing rod.

Dark Knight Filming at Heinz Field: Be An Extra!
Not only is Batman making a movie in the Burgh, he’s going to film it in Pittsburgh’s favorite place, doing Pittsburgh’s favorite thing! The Dark Knight Rises is scheduled to shoot a scene at Heinz Field and they want to fill the stadium with Steelers fans like YOU! For yinzer comic book fans this is a dream come true. The only thing that could make August 6, 2011 any better is if Troy Polamalu throws on a Gotham Rogues uniform and plays strong safety for the cameras.

American Idol Auditions at Heinz Field – 7/15/2011
Pittsburgh, you have 5 days to pick your song and get your voice ready! American Idol is holding open auditions in Pittsburgh later this week.
The Burgh was one of seven cities chosen to host the auditions for season 11, and we all know it’s because Pittsburghers have been hitting the music scene hard lately. It wouldn’t be too surprising if someone from the 412 becomes the next American Idol… we win everything else around here, why not this?
BTW, Jennifer Lopez is returning to the show this season. And don’t forget the American Idol Tour will be in Pittsburgh on August 15th at the Consol Energy Center.
