Steelers 2010 Schedule Released

The Steelers’ 2010 regular season schedule has been released and there are mixed reactions from the fans. 5 of the first 8 games will be on the road, and likely to be without Big Ben. Luckily, 3 of the game will be against teams that didn’t even make the play-offs last year. If you notice, the Steelers are playing a big game against the New Orlean Saints on Halloween. This is also the same night as one of the early World Series games.

Steelers Beat Ravens, Maple Leafs Beat Pens

Pittsburgh’s two champion sports teams played home games in the same night. The Steelers took on the Baltimore Ravens at Heinz Field at 4:15 pm and the Pens had a face-off against the Toronto Maple Leafs at 7:00. After the 23-20 win, the Steelers might actually have a chance of making it to the playoffs. A couple hours later Toronto beat the Pens 4-3. Watch the TV’s above and below for the highlights.

Pittsburgh Steelers just had 4 straight losses for the 1st time in 5 years
But the Stillers haven’t lost to the Cleveland Browns in more than 5 years
In fact, they have 12 straight victories against Cleveland (currently 1-11)

Coach Mike Tomlin might bench Ike Taylor this game to play rookies

Steelers and Bengals Battle @ Heinz Field

So tomorrow is the big game. Pittsburgh Steelers vs. Cincinnati Bengals @ Heinz Field, kick off at 1:00 pm. How about that Rashard Mendenhall! We haven’t lost once since putting him in as a starting running back. In fact, Pittsburgh hasn’t lost a game since week 3 against the Bengals.

It’s going to be a crazy day in Pittsburgh and fans are urged to arrive early for the pre-game ceremonies – gates open at 11 am. Ceremonies include: Salvation Army Kicks Off Kettle Campaign, Joe Greene Coke Commercial Clio Award Presentation, NASA Astronaut Mike Fincke Terrible Towel Presentation, and Veterans Day Recognition.
