GLITZBURGH: Glamour Meets Giving, A Black & Gold Affair is Pittsburgh’s see-and-be-seen charity fashion show that started last year. After a huge success with their first event, the team is back to give the city a much needed dose of glitz and glam! Here are 10 reasons why you should buy tickets now and join us at Glitzburgh this weekend:

It’s on May 22, 2011 which is a Sunday and the Steelers aren’t playing so there’s literally nothing else to do.

Think of how refreshing it will be to see people wearing something other than Uggs and pleather jackets with sports team logos. Enjoy hot models in threads from local fashion designers and brands including DeadBuryDead, ModCloth, Troy Beck, Jewelry N’at (#BurghVerified member), Anna Delattre, Abbey Roos, Chris Corcoran (#BurghVerified member), Rachel Urbanski, Elaine Healy, Abbey Baldwin, and more.

See the Pittsburgh Steelers strut their stuff in something other than tights. Glitzburgh is a chance to see your favorite football players up-close wearing regular clothes (and without helmets).

You can do good while having a good time. All of the proceeds are donated to Children’s Hospital. Glitzburgh raised a whopping $14,000 for the hospital with their premiere event in 2010.
